About Filmmaker Shop Talks
Creative professionals get support and services in their creative work and business practices from both Art Lives Here and Creative Edge Collaborative. For Shop Talks, we come together to create a safe space for an enriched conversation among professional filmmakers, other artists and our local communities. Shop Talks include screening segments, works-in-progress discussions, audience Q&A, technical exchanges and formal presentations, all aimed at growing the film community.
This Shop Talk is made possible by 39th Street Gallery, Art Lives Here, Creative Edge Collaborative, Gateway Community Development Corporation, Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (Prince George’s County), Prince George’s Film Office, and Hyattsville Community Development Corporation.
