Creative Life in the Gateway Arts District
It’s difficult for a fashion designer to find their place in the Washington DC area “fashion scene”, let alone a professional place to create and be taken seriously. But you can do it without relocating to New York. This requires moving on from sewing in your home to a brick & mortar space to grow your business professionally. Haus of PRIVE’ will enable you to sew, photograph, showcase, market and sell your collection all in a professional showroom. Additionally, we offer free consultations each month to help you stay progressive. Contact us today to visit and chat with us. Don’t take too long, space is limited!
Haus of PRIVE’ is a creative space in the Arts District of Hyattsville, positioned within the d’Oro PRIVE’ Showroom. Haus of PRIVE’ is designed to provide DC, MD and VA based fashion professionals a showroom to develop and build their business. The showroom offers creative talent in the fashion industry such as Designers, Stylists, MUA’s, Models, Photographers and Bloggers the ability to create and evolve professionally in a creative and fashion forward showroom. Located minutes from Downtown DC, 295 and 495, there are a vast number of resources, amenities, customer and revenue streams locally and nationally for this industry, you just have to make your next move your best move.
As a showroom, we’ve done a lot to contribute to DC’s fashion agenda. These are just a few businesses we’ve partnered with. So here are some dets’! For the DC Fashion Foundation we organized and styled various events such as “Fashion and Politics in DC” at Look Lounge, “SBA’s Got Talent” at NASA in DC. Coordinated “The All White Affair” to raise funds for Camp Runway, a SYE Program at The Huxley. We curated a portion of the “Cultural Couture” space at Minnesota Ave, and so much more. In addition, we’ve styled Evette Holyfield for the Lamborghini Gala DC, styled Cherish Breedy, an up and coming Barbadian singer for an Italian embassy performance. We’ve worked with Park for the Stevei Boi fashion show, Carolina Kitchen, 4EY and Lyfe of the Party.
