Community Supported Music


Gateway Community Development Corporation is pleased to present Community Supported Music, a music series supported by M-NCPPC.

Trumpeter, Composer and Cottage City resident, Thad Wilson, has been making music for over 30 years.  He leads a 16-piece big band, has had extensive experience in the Musical production “Ella” and currently teaches Jazz Studies at George Washington University. In addition, Thad performs with numerous artists around the world. This endeavor involves the performance by his 5-piece group “Kindred Soul” of Thad’s original composition for Louis Malle’s film noir, “Ascenseur pour L’échafaud” or “Elevator to the Gallows.”
